I put in Lavender in the evening and my Yorkies and Chihuahua fall asleep quickly and rest through the night.It also helps keep away doggie smells.
It does not add much moisture to the room and it has a loud white noise sound.It also has blue led lights that illuminate the water and make a nice night light at night.
Manufacturer recommends that it is placed on a waterproof surface when in use.
